All offer the chance to “talk art” with PAA artists. PAA Art Event signs clearly mark the way to the next studio. Free Studio Tour maps, available at several locations and on our website, will have additional directions and information. This is a great way to see the peninsula and to introduce visitors and locals to our art community!

EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Peninsula Arts Association works with local teachers to bring exciting art programs into class. Art supplies, helping hands and art education lectures combine in a win-win situation for area students. PAA helps with presentation of student art for exhibition and is ready to bring programs for all ages to local libraries as well. This area of Art Enrichment has seen enormous growth in recent years. PAA will host an art auction of over 70 original paintings, by former member Marcia Rockwell, this year. Ms. Rockwell's family donated the works to PAA to help establish initial funds for the Art Enrichment program. Mark your calendar for June 27.

SCHOLARSHIP

Peninsula Arts Association awards an annual High School Graduate Scholarship to a student from the Ocean Beach or Naselle/Grays River Valley school districts. An interest in furthering art education is just one step in the application process, which also includes meeting a GPA minimum, creating a portfolio of work, writing an essay and participating in an interview.

Not your ordinary art group, PAA is comprised of creative souls lured by the natural beauty of the surroundings and the promise of a “beach” lifestyle. From amateur to professional...young to old...potter to world renown watercolorist...PAA welcomes all who share in the joy of artistic endeavors.
